DHU Healthcare once again showcased a remarkable team spirit to take part in the 12th Midlands Charity Football Tournament.

The event proved to be a huge success, raising around £1000 thanks to the generous contributions from competing teams There was a raffle, where all proceeds were donated to me&dee, a charity dedicated to providing much-needed memory holidays for families facing hardships.

Beyond just a football tournament, this annual 5-a-side event was an opportunity for DHU to forge stronger connections with local organisations and emphasise its commitment to supporting the community.

Daniel Fawcett, Deputy Director of Finance, who took part for the first time, was genuinely impressed by the team's performance and took the opportunity to highlight DHU Healthcare's dedication to adding social value. He said: "It was excellent to once again support such a worthy cause and witness the dedication of our team in action. DHU Healthcare's commitment to making a positive impact in the community remains unwavering, and it was fantastic to see everyone come together for this event."

The outdoor tournament in Nottingham saw glorious sunshine throughout the afternoon and we are proud to announce our team's success in making it out of the group stage and forging a path to the semi-finals of the competition!

This incredible accomplishment is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved, especially considering it was the first time the entire team had played together.
