We are delighted to welcome Dr Shade Agboola to DHU Healthcare as a Non-executive Director to the Board.
Shade has a wealth of experience in public health, and is currently Statutory Director of Public Health at Warwickshire County Council. She has more than 11 years’ experience working in public health, local government and academia focusing on health improvement and reducing health inequalities through partnership working, Shade brings a huge amount of knowledge and a shared goal to the DHU Board of Directors.
Talking about what she would bring to DHU, Shade told us: “I want to use my skills, knowledge and experience to provide independence, impartiality and specialist knowledge to the work of DHU in delivering innovative, transformational and integrated healthcare services. I have a passion and commitment to reducing health inequalities and improving the health and wellbeing within local communities which aligns with DHU’s ambitions.
“DHU works across a number of different health systems and I am well versed in partnership working across multiple organisation so look forward to bringing my experiences to the table. I am delighted to be joining an organisation that shares my ambitions, intend to bring a fresh perspective and set of ideas to the work of the Board and look forward to being a part of our journey.”
