We're thrilled to introduce Hannah Stavrou, our new Learning & Development Coordinator at DHU Healthcare. Hannah's journey within DHU is nothing short of remarkable.
Starting over seven years ago as a health advisor in the NHS 111 team in Leicester, Hannah has since made incredible strides. For the last two years, she has served as a Non-Clinical Performance Manager, showcasing her dedication and passion for healthcare.
Hannah is a people person, empathetic and dedicated to making a difference. She's excited to embark on this new chapter with us, especially as DHU is on a journey of culture change.
"I'm proud of my journey within DHU and my achievements," says Hannah. "I was part of the 'Inspire' coaching Programme and am a huge advocate for what DHU are doing. It helped me make friends and encourage everyone who can to be part of it. The culture shift across the organisation is really important to me, and I'm excited to continue building upon the learning within this new role."
Hannah's previous roles and her experience with Inspire have given her a deep understanding of DHU's diverse workforce and the vital role each person plays. "One thing I learned from Inspire is that my two core values are 'family' and 'being kind,' and that is what DHU really aims for. I live into these values."
As she steps into this new role, Hannah is both nervous and excited. "One of the key things that drew me to the role is that I will be training up to deliver the mental health first aid training sessions, which is really important for me. Coming from 111 and knowing the calls that can be taken, I know there is always a demand for colleagues' wellbeing to be supported to deal with what can often be difficult issues."
With this new role, Hannah sees opportunities for both professional and personal growth. "DHU has empowered me to develop within my career, and I feel supported and encouraged to progress. I've done the management training programme and Inspire prior to starting this role, and I feel equipped to take this next step."
