At DHU Healthcare, we believe that compassionate care extends beyond clinical services. It's about going that extra mile to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. Our Charity Champions embody this spirit, and they continue to inspire us with their dedication and generosity.
In our July Charity Champions feature, we introduced you to Ros Harvey, our Corporate Head of Clinical Governance, and her daughter, Alex. Alex is an integral part of the Poplars Care Home team and was looking to find new ways to support the residents with their activities.
Alison Jenkins, the Poplars Home Manager, recently wrote us a letter of appreciation, expressing her sincere gratitude: “l want to extend my sincere gratitude for your contribution to our resident’s Social fund, DHU’s generous gift will have a major impact on helping our ladies and gentlemen enjoy their stay at Poplars. The social Fund is so important to the home as it gives our residents an opportunity to experience many activities to stimulate their senses. This might be a singing, music, cooking or an interactive activity.
“On behalf of our residents, l want to thank you for helping us make a positive difference. Your support encourages our continued commitment to provide social activities for our ladies and gentlemen. Thanks again for your generosity and support.”
Alison's heartfelt words remind us of the importance of our efforts to make a positive difference. The support we provide encourages the continued commitment of Poplars Care Home in offering meaningful social activities to their residents.
It really shows the power of collaboration, and the impact people can make when they come together with a shared purpose.
