Corby Urgent Treatment Centre
Corby Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is here to help you with your urgent care needs, 8am - 8pm, seven days a week, offering a walk-in service with no appointment needed.
You can access the services when:
- Your GP practice is closed, and you need urgent treatment
- You have experienced an injury such as a suspected broken bone
- You have a cut, minor injury, scald, burn, fever or rash
- You need treatment for any other urgent, but not emergency, condition.
Treatment at Corby UTC can be accessed by:
- Calling or going online to NHS 111
- You could be given an appointment by your GP, NHS 111 or from the Emergency Department.
- Walk in capacity is available at this service, but it is advisable to use NHS 111 to ensure you are guided to the most appropriate service with a confirmed arrival time slot. This will minimise your waiting time and, where walk-in availability is limited, it will avoid long waits at the UTC or signposting to alternative services.
All patients will be assessed and seen in order of clinical priority. For less urgent conditions, patients may be offered a later arrival time on the same day, allowing them to return rather than waiting in the centre. Patients are also welcome to remain and wait if they prefer.
This UTC helps to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place. If you are unsure about whether this is the right place for your health needs, please contact NHS 111. Fopr life-thretening emergencies, always call 999.
