Congratulations to our DHU Academy Team who have been named as finalists in the British Training Awards.

Our incredible team have been shortlisted in the Learning and Development Team of the Year category, following a year that has seen them provide a number of new courses that support our teams and individuals.

A record 423 entries were made to the nomination team so to be named as a finalist alongside world recognised companies including Warner Music Group, Vodaphone and Jaguar is an incredible achievement.

Sharon Davies is Head of the DHU Academy and said: “We’ve come a long way since moving to being a learning academy, including becoming our own learning provider and launching two groups of 111 Health Advisors' Emergency Contract Handler Apprenticeship Programme.

“It’s a real honour to be nominated for this award and a testament to our commitment to developing our people to ensure they have the career they want with us at DHU.”

Nate Harwood, Founder of New Possible and the British Training Awards, said: "Investment in learning and development is non-negotiable for organisations to succeed in 2026. As we navigate a profound industrial shift, those equipping their people with new skills are actively building tomorrow's economy. The British Training Awards celebrate the visionary teams and individuals driving this transformation. Congratulations to all our Finalists."

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Covent Garden on 15th July, best of luck to our brilliant team.
