In February 2014 he took up the board position of Director of Strategy and Performance at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He was appointed Acting Chief Executive two-years later – and then became its first Chief Operating Officer, leading and influencing partnership working and implementing change across the wider health system, as well as within the Trust.

As part of DHU Health Care he will support the organisation with the next stage of its development, bringing this wealth of commercial and public sector experience with him.  He is passionate about improvement, creating a culture that engages and empowers all staff – and which gives everyone the opportunity to become involved in transforming both the patient care and services they provide; and their own workplaces.  He is equally committed to making sure individuals can learn and flourish to achieve their own goals; and believes working in collaboration with stakeholders across all sectors is key to excellent service delivery.
