North Derbyshire CCG & Southern Derbyshire CCG (Opens in a new window) (Opens in a new window). Our main services are to provide out of hours care to patients when their own General Practitioner (GP) practice is closed. This is done by offering telephone advice, triage and face to face consultations in a range of primary care centres throughout the county or by consulting with patients in their own homes. This covers a patient population of around 960,000 patients registered across approximately 133 GP practices.

NHS Bassetlaw (Opens in a new window) Derbyshire Health United provide Call Handling and Triage services, as well as Clinical Advice to Specialist Practitioners to Bassetlaw Clinical Commissioning Groups. This covers a patient population of around 109,000 patients registered across 12 GP practices.


Derbyshire Community Health Care Service NHS Trust(DCHS) (Opens in a new window) DHU provide evening and night district nursing services on behalf of Derbyshire Community Health Services (DCHS) for the population of the county. This service is provided by a team of district and community nurses who provide care in peoples homes to ensure their needs are met during the evening and overnight district nursing service. DHU also provide doctors and nurses who work with DCHS staff to look after inpatients in their community hospitals across the county during the out of hours period.
